About Us

Wendy Weaver, everyday LIFE Executive Director, served as the Executive Director of a non-profit home care and social service organization for eighteen years, the last three of which the organization was affiliated with an acute care facility. During this time, Ms. Weaver was a part of the hospital team and participated, as such, in overall strategic planning, quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives of the larger organization. Ms. Weaver has also been a management consultant to non-profit human services organizations and was employed as the Director of Corporate Development for a medical equipment manufacturer. She holds a Masters Degree in Education.

Ms. Weaver has been a member of the Advisory Council for the Area Agency on Aging, the Medicaid Advisory Committee for the State of New Jersey, a Trustee and officer of the Home Care Council of NJ and a Trustee and Standards Committee member of the Commission on Accreditation for Home Care. In addition, she was an instructor for the NJ Board of Nursing. Ms. Weaver has been honored by the New Jersey State Assembly for her contributions to home care.

 

Melissa Armstrong, MS, RN, CS, everyday LIFE Clinical Manager, has over eighteen years experience in nursing. Her experience includes nursing education, patient and family education, patient care manager, clinical assessment and consultation.

In previous positions she oversaw the clinical management of a 98 bed assisted living facility, implemented the Elder Life Program at Lehigh Valley Hospital was involved with clinical assessments and consults of Elder Life patients.

Ms. Armstrong has certifications as a Personal Care Home Administrator and is board certified as a Clinical Specialist in Gerontological Nursing. She holds a Master of Science degree in Adult Health Nursing from the University of Vermont and her Baccalaureate of Nursing from the University of New Hampshire.

 

Imelda Mitra, everyday LIFE Human Resources Manager, has over five years of extensive experience in human resources operations - employment, benefits, employee relations, classification, compensation, human resource information systems and training, working for various healthcare centers in Illinois.

While working with the 15th largest Continuing Care Retirement Community in the U.S., a not for profit organization, Ms. Mitra managed the overall employment/recruitment activities for a newly built 180 independent living apartment complex. She played a major role in the successful employment of new hires to staff the new facility within three months in time for its opening.

She builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing information, opportunities, and benefits; and representing the organization in job fairs and other outreach activities. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration.

 

Michelle Hollis, everyday LIFE Assistant Controller, has over fourteen (14) years of experience in senior living. For several years Ms. Hollis has worked as an independent consultant, assisting various healthcare companies and accounting firms with services such as accounts receivables and compliance reporting. Prior to consulting, Ms. Hollis was a manager with KPMG’s National Senior Living practice. She led staff on various projects such as cost reporting, reimbursement enhancement, and compliance and operational reviews. She also supported financial feasibility and market demographic studies.

Ms. Hollis has presented seminars at national and state association conferences. Seminar topics included Medicare’s Prospective Payment System and regulatory compliance issues related to long term care facilities.

Ms. Hollis holds a BS Degree in International Business from Messiah College.
